FEBRUARY CHALLENGE

 OF MICE AND MEN

In this gripping short novel we will dive into lives of 2 freiends who engage in problems regarding their life and work.

George Milton and Lennie Small who go around the country like nomads in search f work and finds a ranch to work in. Later due to the flaws of Lennie Small who is emotionally immature, they get into series of troubles and ends in voilence. George milton is liked as we move forward into the plot, since he is a dynamic and sharp personality. On the other hand Lennie is a gaint figure with childish behaviour always impedement to geroge.

One of the prominent themes of this book are alienation of nature, friendships, racism, voilence, weakness and companionship. Plot was rather very simle and small but it challenges the conventional morality of human nature and makes us to rethink about moral conventions.

A few lines from this book:"maybe everybody in the whole damn world is scared of each other".

THIS PERFECT DAY

Another dyspotian novel like 1984. This technometric dyspotian novel is an award winning flabbergaster.
This Perfect Day by Ira Levin is a dystopian novel published in 1970. The story is set in a future where the world is governed by a supercomputer named UniComp, which maintains control over humanity by ensuring uniformity and conformity. The protagonist, Chip (Li RM35M4419), begins to question this controlled society and embarks on a journey of self-discovery and rebellion.

The novel explores the tension between societal control and personal freedom. The characters are conditioned to think and act alike, which stifles creativity and personal growth. Chip's rebellion is a quest for individuality in a world that denies it.

Levin's writing is clear and engaging, with a focus on building tension and suspense. The narrative is tightly structured, with each chapter advancing Chip's journey and the unveiling of the truth behind UniComp's control. The prose is straightforward, making the complex themes accessible to readers.

Its exploration of the balance between societal order and personal freedom is particularly poignant in an age where technology plays an increasingly central role in our lives. Chip's journey is compelling and serves as a reminder of the importance of individuality and the human spirit.
