BABEL by R.F KUANG
A Well to read book with new theme on student life in prestigious city. This story is set at the time's of rise of British empire. Exploring the cruelty of British empire and struggle of colonies in the view of students of Royal Institute Of Translation's , this book is not to stop in the middle, until we finished it.Even though disappointed by the unremarkable characters in the story, unlike Donna Tart(the secret history), R.F Kuang failed to create remarkable characters. A Stronger Theme with fluent flow of story but failed to show the necessary meaning of the book.
A few lines I love from the book:
- Let them hate, so long as they fear.
- Violence shows them how much we're willing to give up.
